This is not goodbye
For Kristian, developing and leading Platform4 has been a thrilling experience and a main reason to stay in Aalborg. Adventure has always been the key for Kristian – And now it's the time for a new journey.
”Five years ago I was a part of creating and introducing Platform4 to Aalborg and the world, and since then I have been one of the two executive directors leading the project to where it is today, to the potential and brand Platform4 has right now. My own capacity has grown with it – just like all platformers grow with Platform4 – And now, an ”era” later, it's time for me to set off for new adventures.
To me Platform4 is a phenomenon, an action-packed adventure, a community of friends and collabs, and an ever expanding diary of professional experience. Platform4 has become an important platform for artistic and professional development alongside a social arena for friendships and genuine communities. Thus this is not goodbye, as I will still be involved in Platform4 doing projects and participating in the community which is so close to my heart.
Right now I have no certain plans for the future, but I strongly believe that there is a place for me in Aalborg to expand my talents and set the conventions on fire on a regular basis. I will nurse the blossoming culturelife of Aalborg through www.nitusind.nu and will hopefully contribute even more to shaping ”the city I wish to live in”.”
Kristian will be leaving his position on January 31st, 2013, and will take part in the transformation process until then. A re-organization plan for Platform4 will be shaped during the months to come.

What a relief, but why stay in Aalborg?

It's a sad, but great article :)
