The first weekend in November, people will meet all over the world for this year's Global Sustainability Jam. We will do the same at Platform4 in Aalborg! Anyone who is interested can join for a 48 hour workshop where tomorrow's sustainable solutions will be developed.
What kind of solutions that are to be developed is not decided - however, they must fit into a common theme that is revealed in the beginning of the workshop.
We think that you should join the event if:
- you would like to develop sustainable ideas and solutions
- you like meeting new faces with other backgrounds than your own
- you are okay with a lot of fun!
What to bring
We have almost everything you need for a great weekend of jamming. Yet, it would be great if you could bring:
- A computer or a tablet
- Pencils and pens
- A camera, video camera or microphone could also be useful for making the video presentations
Program
The framework for the weekend looks like this. During the jam, the teams will work towards a number of deadlines where they present their ideas and concepts. More info about this will come during the jam.
Friday 2/11
17.00: All jammers meet for an introduction, formation of teams and the revealing of the theme of Global Sustainability Jam 2012
18.30: Dinner
19.30: Start jamming!
21.00: Goodnight (or stay at Platform4′s event ‘Klub Plugin’ for a beer or two)
Saturday 3/11
9.00: All jammers meet and pick up where they left off yesterday
12.30: Lunch
13.30: More jamming
18.00: Dinner
21.00: Goodnight!
Sunday 4/11
9.00: Morning! All teams finish up their concepts and the presentation
12.30: Lunch
15.00: All concepts must be uploaded to the Global Sustainability Jam server
16.00: Nomination of the best SusJamAalborg concept
16.30: Thanks for now
