New Street Art Gallery - Opening

A brand new legal street art gallery is now opening in the Karolinelund park, right next to the new Platform4. This corner of the park will be dedicated to street art flavors of any kind, and we'll celebrate the official opening with live graffiti painting, live dj'ing and cold beers. Join to paint or just watch!

The boring walls south of the new Platform4 building in Karolinelund are about to get a real facelift - and continue to get one - when the new street art gallery will be established with this casual grand opening. 60 meters of bare wall that the city's street art talent can use to express their ideas 24 hours a day.

For this afternoon opening we'll setup a sound system with dj's, cold beers and live graffiti - join us! To paint, to watch or to hang.

Let's help each other keep it cool! This is how it is set up.
The gallery is managed autonomously by the street art community and any one who wants to paint on it. No one is in charge. Normal street rules apply. Bomb it, tag it, rule it and respect your fellow painters! Most importantly, clean up after yourself, so the gallery can remain. We've actually managed to get a special spray can recycling container, so all cans can be removed easily and without environmental damage. Let's use it.
By the way: Only the two designated walls are legal - the rest of the park is still no-go :)

(Please help us obey these simple rules - as we Platform4 volunteers will be blamed if things get messy).

PS: If you need spray paint or other gear, the webshop crew can help with that, and therefore it is possible to buy spray at the event right next to the wall. Otherwise check out the assortment of brands and colors here.
