Inner Shift Music with Playgood presents three music technology workshops (beginner to advanced levels) in using Ableton Live music software - hosted by Rai Scott (UK) from internationally acknowledged electronic music duo 2DeepSoul.
In this exclusive series of three workshops, Rai will teach participants not only how to get the most from the software in order to create high quality electronic music, but also share insight into how she herself work in producing her critically acclaimed material.
Rai Scott got her start in the free party scene in the U.K. In the late 90’s and on into the early 2000 era, she was a regular dj at several outdoor free parties. She was also a busy underground dj in London and the east Midlands area. In 2004 she decided to focus more on making her own music, which led to her first release as Serendipity on the net label from Berlin’s Mixomat Recordings in 2008. She has since had subsequent releases both on vinyl and mp3. She has developed a deep, grooving sound of her own that is influenced by UK and Europe’s independent electronic sound of the 90’s, combined with her love for early Chicago and UK house, as well as Detroit techno.

Participation in the workshop is free (w/ volunteer donation), but requires registration. Workshop participants get free admission at the Saturday night live event (Normal admission DKK 40,-)

Participants must bring a laptop and Ableton Live software - please see workshop registration page for more details.

Beginner's at 14:00, - Friday, July 13
Intermediate at 17:00 - Friday, July 13
Advanced at 10:00 - Saturday, July 14
After completing the workshops, participants are invited to showcase their new material at the official Workshop Showcase 18:00 on Saturday July 14, which will segway into the evening live performance event featuring 2DeepSoul, DJ Nathan Curry, DJ Yngve Stensaker & Mik Mak..

hi, i tried to sign up for the intermediate and advanced workshops, but for some reason i was not able to sign up for a second workshop... just so you know, i will be showing up friday as well :)
